Hi there,

Sorry if this comes off as a bonehead question, but how do I change notification sounds for different events and also for different apps, like I was able to do in BB10?

See the screenshot attached...that's the sort of thing I'm looking for in Android, and can't find that in the Settings.

For someone coming from BB10, you notice right away that the sound for receiving a text msg, is a "different BlackBerry sound" than the "ping" that I'm used it.

Unlike BB10, you need to change the notification from inside each app. If you dig into the individual app settings, you should be able to find a notification setting. If there isn't one, then it will default to the system Notification default set under Sound.
