I never had the problem before the AAW377 upgrade. it seems to occur when I try to access a link within a Firefox web page or some NYTimes links. From BBsupport, they seem to want to determine which routers have the problem.

That is not a very good solution as that protocol is not very secure for wifi. I think others have mentioned dropping the wifi to the 2.4 (is it?) frequency can also work???

It's not a router problem or everything would have an issue with those routers.
I just got this problem with the May patch too. I have a K1 with a PRD-xxx-33 which didn't get anything since December 2017. Using the 2.4Ghz did help. But just last night I lost all connectivity even with 4G LTE. Had to do a reboot.
Here are the two main threads on the subject! I highly recommend to call BlackBerry and open tickets; the more tickets we open the most they can get a grasp as to how wide the problem is:

Disappointing!
Same problem here, sometimes it even effects mobile data.
It's working again after a reboot but flight mode and all doesn't solve it.
