    Hey, I am on Bell with BlackBerry unlocked Priv

    Just got a 157mb system update

    No idea what it was, perhaps the monthly security?

    I just checked my info, and it may have been the October 5th patch, that's what my about screen says I have now

    Yes, it should be the monthly update. If your build is now AAG853, that pretty much confirms it.

    Anybody on a Bell purchased Priv get an update or are these coming to ones unlocked from a non carrier source?

    I was under the apparently mistaken belief that these security patches bypassed the carriers under Android. I know BB10 updates come when the OS was updated other then emergency malware patches. Oh well......
