    Anyone noticing their battery draining with the last couple of updates to Instagram? Looking at the battery setting Instagram is now consuming 20% of my battery! I'm 24 hours away from nuking it!!

    Yes I've noticed the same almost 3 days ago and I've resolved the issue cleaning cache and data of Instagram app and the issue has gone. if you can't solve it in this way you can try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

    I only open it to check PM's other than that I use iGrann Pro regularly.
    When I'm done with it I use Taskmanager to force close it so it doesn't use up my resources.

    It was draining around 7% of the whole battery during a regular working day without using it once. However, I've activated the battery saver for it and now it seems to be OK.

    Hi again all.. My apologies for not keeping up with this thread lately. What's happened since my initial posting was IG put out another update which corrected my battery problem. All is well with the world again. Thanks again for your suggestions.
