My Keyone: Will not allow my work email to install / activate in the hub. I can activate in other 3rd party's like Gmail exchange or Outlook exchange.

Called Blackberrymobile - not much help. My I.T. cannot figure it out. This is ridiculous. Real simple it should be.

Well, logically you need the manual settings for your Exchange account. If your IT can't help you there, then there's not much anyone else can do really. Did they at least give those to you?

You need to get the Incoming and Outgoing server names, port numbers and security protocols from your IT people and then manually enter the Server Settings.

Check your domain / user name. Should be entered in the same field. Some email apps break these up in to separate fields.

I had difficulty with one Exchange account and had to go back into my Passport to exactly copy the domain and username to get it to set up correctly on my KEYone.

Dear All . This is very common issue with K1 Hub and we already trying to talk to bb development team but seems they will not be able to fix that problem. I guess have to spread the word and make sure other are aware before getting that device.

Simply because you are not able to correctly configure an email account does not imply the BlackBerry KEYone is not suitable for other people. Mkay?

Well, seems not only me not able. By the way is bb development team with our IT department trying to resolve that without any success. If you are so knowledgeable why dont you simple suggest how to solve that matter, instead implying we all do not know how to configure that. believe me for the past 5 years bb was my primary phone for work so i am very disappointed that not able to use K1. Dont take me wrong i do love that phone but main reason to use bb is bb hub .

I am using our office MS Outlook and the Keyone via active sync with no issues. The Account works within the hus as is my personal Outlook and Gmail account.

dear All. As per bbm development team K1 less likely will support older Ms servers such as 2007 due to high security requirements by Android 7.1. in the other words if you run Android 6.1 u still can set up BBM hub with older servers however newer version of Android 7.1 would not let u I guess will have to wait for our IT to upgrade servers.

Hi all - I can verify the issue with the KEYONE, Blackberry HUB and using Active SYNC on Exchange 2007 - none of the KEYONE's that we have bought will connect. They give a "cannot connect to server" error. We can use the GMail app as a workaround (or Outlook).

Note - all previous BlackBerries on 10.x and the PRIV connect no problem, as do current versions of iPhones etc.

We will be migrating to a current version of Exchange later this summer which I believe will rectify the problem.

This was the fix for me. Copy the account settings EXACTLY from my passport. I'm still having a hard time figuring out the Android, I miss my BB OS

Exchange 2007 is not supported by the hub, that is well documented....

Exchange 2007 is also not supported by Microsoft anymore so that's fairly common practice. End of Life was April 11, 2017. Time to upgrade.

Fyi, if you add an Exchange 2013 server to the domain for migration and have your mailbox moved to the 2013 server then KEYONE will connect to it even if the 2007 is still active

Actually, it will start working as soon as the Exchange 2013 server is introduced and starts proxying Active-Sync requests. We still haven't migrated any mailboxes from 2007 and the hub works great on the KeyONE.

For what it's worth, I spent hours trying to get one of my Office365 accounts to appear in the hub of my KeyOne. (Primary Outlook account worked from the start and additional account worked in Outlook app - just not in hub.) One final try, I let the "validating server settings" message run for 10 minutes instead of my usual cancelling after a minute or two. Lo and behold - it connected and all is well.
