Had to eventually happen I guess.

Guess BlackBerry finally started cracking down on their keyboard APK-screenshot-2018-08-03-15.18.57.png

I get it.. but it won't actually solve anything and is bad because it makes it harder for folks to revert to older builds when something is messed up and now, instead of having the a reputable repo for it, it'll just be asked for and subsequently offloaded to less reputable download spots.

Why couldn't they do what Imo and Kik did to not make their android apps work on BB Android runtime on BB10 devices. Or for that matter the same way BBM android apk which doesn't work on BB10 etc. Serving a DMCA notice costs money, no?

Bla1ze, could this have something to do with the Oreo Beta. I know I installed in the past various Chinese Keyone variant apps from APKmirror and my update to the Oreo Beta has not been smooth as butter.

This has nothing to do with BB10.

This is the BlackBerry Keyboard app for Android used on other android phones. The notice is for other android apk distribution sites making the apk available to all.

Funny enough, the camera APK is one of the few still available.

Wasn't funny for me! I tried to install it and it borked my camera running Oreo Beta. I do think that there may be a relation to issues with the Oreo Beta and previous downloads from Chinese variants that were available on APKmirror. For instance I had installed the Private Browser months ago (but didn't work) and when it came to download the Oreo Beta the Private Browser was borked. In this instance I might assume that the Private Browser has special system access and the installation of it on Nougat messed things. What do think? Please and thanks!

The Camera 3.1.3130 is from ABD174, i.e. the first Oreo beta build/China release.

Oh well is right. Explain to me how the first post from Bla1ze has anything to do with BB10, or the runtime in BB10.
