If you have this issue I've finally gotten mine all sorted out. Now mind you I've had multiple Blackberry's using this gmail account. At one point and I believe the 9900 was the last one that did this was truly actually sync imap so in my labels section I had an [IMAP]/Sent and [IMAP]/Trash which never truly worked after the 9900 because all corresponding emails would end up there from my device. I deleted both of these folders from labels online. After a refresh from my device they were recreated again so now all emails deleted are going there like they should have been all along. Same for sent emails.
