I have been using the DTEK50 for a while, in order to be used to the new reality of BlackBerry Android.

One thing that I struggle with is how Gmail is formatted on the DTEK50, as compared to BlackBerry 10.

On bb10, Gmail was clear, clean and easy to use.

On BlackBerry Android, Gmail conversations often display as a complicated, messed up, disjointed thread. It usually includes 'Truncated message '. And frequently there are buried messages in the thread that are difficult to find and therefore easy to miss.

Does anyone else who uses Gmail encounter the same problem?

I'm ready to move forward with the new generation of BlackBerry devices, and really need to have the Gmail working better.

I did set up the Gmail accounts from the Hub, just the same way as I did in bb10. By comparison, bb10 is so much better in how it formats Gmail threads.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Sounds like you are talking about conversation view. If you are in the hub, go to settings, then general settings and turn off conversation view.

Have you tried using inbox by Google instead? They bundle conversations and everything comes nice and organized.

Thanks for the responses. I tried turning off Conversation view setting, and it has fixed the problem.

    Thank you very much.
