    I had posted over on android central last week and never got a response. With iPhone /FaceTime you can forward text messages from one device to another. Is there a way to do that with BB10? Or with android/BlackBerry ? Any good apps for that?

    I wasn't aware of any device that can't forward text messages...?? Maybe I'm missing what you mean.

    The iPhone doesn't exactly forward iMessages. When two "i" devices share the same apple ID, iMessages can appear on both, if desired. It's nifty.

    Right. That’s what I meant. So can 2 BB10 devices or 2 BB/Android devices do that?

    Not that I'm aware of. iMessages is based on the Apple ID and is much more than simple sms messaging. Receiving and sending sms messages to non-Apple devices is only a part of what it can do.

    Sms on an Android or BlackBerry device is just sms and based on the device phone number only. There may be an app that could automatically forward sms messages, but I would expect all those messages would appear to be coming from the device forwarding the message -- which would defeat the purpose.

    It won’t defeat the purpose for me. I just need them to be forwarded. Doesn’t matter which number it shows. I just need to get the message . But I believe I have seen some apps that can do that

    So i guess I’ll stick with what’s been working. 2 iPhones. Keep the newly acquired z30 back in the hotel room to answer emails send attachments etc.....
