Files get permantly(!) lost (without recovery possiblity) if you put an Android device via USB on a Win 10 PC activate MTP filetransfer but then MOVE files in Win10 Explorer inside Android (e.g. DOWNLOADS to DOCUMENTS).

This seems not to affect PRIV (Keyone and DTEKS unknown) - but atm perhaps moving files inside Android should be done with an android filemanager with no USB connection to PC - just to be save.

On german IT-Mag Heise (https://heise.de/-3815535) there is an atm ongoing updated list which devices are (from user replies):

affected ("betroffen"): Windows 10, some Linux , Nexus 6P, HTC U11, Nokia 6, OnePlus 3, 5, Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi Mix, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, Samsung Galaxy S2, S4 mini, HTC 10, Huawei Mate 9, P8 Lite, Lenovo Motorola Moto G3, Moto G5 (Android 7), LG K8, G5 (Android 7), Nexus 5X (Android 8), OnePlus 3T, Sony Xperia Z, Xperia Z5

No other english article found atm.

Perhaps @JohnAtBlackBerry or @BlackBerry Mobile could test this on all BB/BBM devices

Generally if I connect my phone to my PC... I use the PC to move the files. Haven't eve taught about how to do it the other way.

Well that would exactly be the case to lose files: if you use PC-explorer/mouse to more easily move files on android from one android-folder to another android-folder.
