    After the latest Dtek app update, it refuses to allow the combination of password protection and picture password as screen lock. Disables start up protection.
    Anybody else with the same issue?
    Priv - 3 and Priv - 4 on both the same issue.

    It's false reporting. It actually does allow it.

    Just set it up normally and ignore the warning.

    I know you know more about what's going on here than I do. So why would secure startup be disabled in the Android settings but it's actually enabled and the device requires a password when restarting?

    You're right that the actually source of the problem is hard to determine, and hopefully it will be fixed shortly.

    The important thing is that the feature is still available and working correctly.
