    Ok so I got my KEYone last week and I like the DTEK monitoring app very much. But when I checked to see which apps accessed my location the most, I was surprised to see that it wad DTEK. 3067 times in 5 days? That is insane! Why would this monitoring app need my location so often?

    No sadly this is standard in DTEK on my PRIV too, that's why I took away the permission for that. I don't need to know where I am when some permission is accessed and so BB does not have to know either.

    Usually it records the location for every event it detects from other apps, and those can be plenty :



    How useful that is, is out of my knowledge. I deactivated location access for DTEK completely and am reminded of this (with very bad german translation (similar to this) ) on every startup of DTEK . But I ignore it
