For the past month, I have been unable to login to certain apps using my cell service. But when I go onto WiFi, it works. I am using Sprint and thought it may be a provider issue but I also have a sprint Hotspot and connected to that via WiFi and it worked. So ruling out Sprint.

Its only for some apps and it always times out signing in. Is there some sort of security in the phone that is preventing Network usage?

Might be "controlled" by the app itself? To help limit unknown data useage? Did you look in the particular app settings to see if there is an "option"???

Also, check your App permissions......
