    I see the calculator in settings but don't know how to open it.

    Press the Home key, then the round white icon with the six dots in it at the bottom of your screen to open the App Drawer which contains all of your apps. Long press on the Calculator icon to put it on your home screen.

    If you press the app key, scroll down to the calculator and then tap to open.
