Hello, I was wondering which apps are or are not built in the KEYone . I have read that the text messaging 'app' isn't necessarily built into Android. So what about the KEYone and text messaging app or the file manager?

Are there any other apps you have to download that are built in BB10?

    Thank you in advance

It's the same as all the other BlackBerry Androids.
Text Messaging is provided, but it isn't fully integrated into HBU+... you see notifications, but clicking on them takes you to the Text Messaging App.

File Manager... if you need one you'll have to add it, but it's not 100% necessary.

Thank you for the clarification. I hope the Hub integration comes soon.

Does BlackBerry have their own text messaging app? All the screenshots I see of the KEYone show the Android Messages app

Nope, it uses the default Messages app that Google has made for SMS.

Many of us use Yaata for SMS/MMS as it integrates nicer with the Hub

Since the last textra update, yaata no longer has this advantages over textra

As far as I can tell, these are the apps BB handles themselves on BB Android devices:

    The Hub+ suite:
    -Hub
    -Password Keeper
    -Calendar
    -Notes
    -Contacts
    -Tasks
    -Device Search
    -Launcher

    Non-suite:
    -Camera
    -Virtual Expert
    -Keyboard
    -Productivity Edge
    -DTEK

Anything else (SMS, music, photos, etc) is the default Google one.
