Since there's a brand new forum for the Android OS, here's a brand new thread for cataloging OS releases for the Priv, DTEK50, DTEK60 and future devices. Imagine the Latest Spotted BB10 OS thread but much less chaotic.

If you want to find out which build number you're on:
Settings > About phone > Build number

Sources for these include your phone, certification agencies (PTCRB, FCC, etc), BlackBerry's kernel repo, etc.

    The list:

AAG191 (-1, -3) and AAG202 (-1) are on PTCRB for the Priv. September? US Carriers?

Timeline seems to fit to start testing September patches this week.

That -1 only build is interesting, likely just for AT&T or T-Mobile.

My shopblackberry.com dtek50 is still on Aaf959 build. Any idea why the August update would not show up for my device? Thanks for the help!

    Check again?

AAG124 is apparently the August + Quadrooter patch level, but BlackBerry forgot to update the patch level string in the OS properties. Still, AAF959 is the most recent autoloader available, so you'll have to wait for either the OTA push (should have happened already) or the AAG124 autoloader.

AAG124 (DTEK), AAG111 (common and T-Mobile Priv), AAG153 (AT&T Priv) loaders are up, FYI.

New autoloaders are available here: https://global.blackberry.com/conten...IV/reload.html and AT&T version also got the update. This is strange, since previos autoloader for AT&T Priv was distributed by AT&T from their web site. Also, not sure, if same update (AAG153) availabe for AT&T unlocked Priv as OTA update - does anybody has any information, regarding this?

153 is only for AT&T I think, but it seems to be AAG111 (i.e. August patch + Quadrooter fix) plus whatever AT&T specific stuff there is.

    Thanks, thurask!
Since autoloader is on Blackberry site, I was hoping they finally resolved the problem with AT&T version update without AT&T sim, but looks like not... Inability to get the update without dealing with another sim is really annoying.

    Hi All
I don't know if this is only in my case, but after Autoloading AAG153 on my Priv, I had a series of crashes, restarts, app crashes, super heating issues, battery dying in 1 hour, etc.

I HAD to go back to AAF355 to stop it continuously crashing.

    Anyone else experience anything similar?

I applied AAG153 OTA, not autoloader, and found vastly improved heat and battery, but did see some extra app crashing. However, that was Friday, and today (Sunday) AT&T just pushed a huge (1.8G) MM update to my device which I believe to be AAG202, so you may want to try G202 vs. F355 if there is an autoloader for it available.

Was it AT&T pushing the update or are you in the beta?

My understanding is that AAG153 was a general AT&T pushed update (based on what I read here in the forums), but I'm also in the beta, so today I received AAG202

I am using an AT&T branded, but unlocked Priv outside the States, so I guess the Autoloader is the only way to upgrade.
Even though I've kept it to the very minimum of downloaded apps, it's still just not very stable.

Is there a big difference between AAG153 and AAG202, considering it is an almost 2GB file (?) Where would one get it from?

You can get it from the OP or from here:

    http://global.blackberry.com/en/supp...IV/reload.html

Either way, read the link for directions on how to install.

I am having huge issues with my Priv.
I followed the instructions and tried to reload 153 as I don't have access to 202 and disaster.
The phone restarts all the time. I touch wifi, it restarts, camera-restart, chrome-restart, messenger-restart.

Or, the dreaded Google services, messenger, whatsapp, phone, play store, outlook, calendar, etc has unfortunately stopped...

What am I doing wrong here...

I would read the instructions again and run the autoloader one more time

    Hi
I did it again as per the instructions and reloaded 153.
The crashes, after initial installation, have becomes considerably less.
However, it still randomly restarts or app crashes to a restart are still present at the most inopportune moments.
Last night it continually restarted about 4 times while on the charger

    Hi,

Just a question. I had to take my old PRIV as i broke my new one screen and it was on 5.1.1. I installed AAG277 on it, as I'm in Europe and i just realized it's the south Korean version. I probably took the last version from the list "NON US" on this thread. The question is : can i use AAG277? In Europe? In the future, will i have updates? Only South Korean version updates?

The phone works well, only differences i noticed is the phone app, i don't have visuel voice mail and the call screen is a bit different.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Has anyone tried installing the AT&T or common Marshmallow update on a Verizon Priv? I ran an AT&T release on my Verizon Z30 and it worked great. Not sure what the status is with doing that on the Priv though... is it even possible?
