I have blackberry services running on a Sony xperia xa ultra. I share a google calender with my wife to share events but I want to create calendar events that are not shared but are only displayed on my LOCAL calendar. Is this local calendar feature available on the android version or was that only available in BB10 osBlackberry Android Calendar-notable-00001.jpeg

From the little I know about my new Key2, the local calendar appears to be a BB 10 (or before) thing. I came from a Passport and miss having the local calendar. I haven't found it on my BB Android.

In my Calender app on my BB Key2, there is a local calendar section. Swipe in from the left side and you should be able to see it listed.

I don't appear to have this option for some reason.

Thanks for the replys it does not seem to have the LOCAL calendar on the android build which is too bad as it is a feature I use extensively on my passport. It keeps certain things local on my device and does not sync to any cloud sources. I hope they reintroduce this feature in upcoming updates as it is a great SECURITY feature

Go to the playstore and find the app Offline Calendar.

I was able to add a local calendar using this app.

If you change the view to "Week view" you will see the week number displayed at the top left.

Actually, every view but "month" view will show the week number.
