What makes you think that? Oreo was delivered quite timely to the K1 and I predict that we'll see a similar trend here.

Only with BB on CB do we consider timely, one year behind for Android OS. When everyone got Nougat-BB Marshmallow, Oreo-BB Nougat, Pie-BB Oreo and so it goes....we live happily in our parallels

Considering adaptations that has to be done, a year behind is probably not that bad compared with many other brands plus Project Treble seem to already pay dividends with monthly OS patches that are so far delivered more frequently and timely than they are to the K1.

I am not sure if Project Treble has anything to do with helping to speed up an entire OS upgrade delivery but it certainly look like the app suite devs are updating their apps to meet Pie requirements so overall I think the arrow is well pointed.

So when you swipe up to view the Recent screen and Hub is open, are you able to peek at newly received messages without actually opening Hub?

Yes. And when the phone is awakened but not unlocked, a digest of new email headers is shown as notifications.

I expect the app suite devs are on a different time table. They have to support enterprise devices using BlackBerry for Work, most of which are not BBMo products. I hope that the App Suite is able to stand all on it's own...

Everyone? I still read about devices receiving 8.0 or 8.1 in the past two months, so the K1 was actually quite on time in that regard.
