Hey ya'll,

I'm a big user of ad blocking software. On my previous devices, I would root my phone and put ad-away on my device which served my needs greatly. Since my data is metered, I feel entitled to block advertisements on line since they're wasting my paid for data.

With my Priv and the wife's DTEK50, we don't have access to root.

I've done some research and i've played around with Adgaurd which is bit of software that creates a VPN loop back on the device which filters ads. It works well, but i'm curious what other options there are for rootless devices.

Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can you install firefox? It has ad blockers as add-ons.
