Again a lot of Mediaserver (aka stagefright), qualcomm and kernel fixes:

BlackBerry powered by Android Security Bulletin – January 2017

    Corresponding google bulletin:
Android Security Bulletin—January 2017 | Android Open Source Project

Those EU devices will have to wait again, but all other could perhaps enter their update date here: http://vowe.net/archives/016056.html

If no one has the update yet, does it really exist?

They didn't even Beta Zone these builds.

Wasn't that ghostship name event horizon, so perhaps this is a flying dutch update.

Seems like increasingly they aren't "beta-zoining" the updates. Last one for the Priv went straight to prod.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I mentioned on Upstream they were kinda sorta starting to slip on quick delivery of updates not long ago, seems they passed that kinda sorta stage now.

John in Beta Zone has mentioned in the past that the "Beta" in Beta Zone is a misnomer, reminiscent of the older actual Beta days. It was more of an early release program rather than a pre-release. Other than the very first update, every single "beta" release became exactly the same as the gold release. So I guess the bug reports doesn't even get looked into till one or two releases after.

Makes me wonder if it's still worth staying in the beta program, December and January update seems like you get the update faster if you're not part of beta. They messed up last month and a lot of us beta users didn't get the update till very late.

I just checked UPDATES on my ShopBB Priv and there it was. Downloading and now Installing.

What are the chances ( already), that my Verizon one has it, too?

Well my other (optimistic) theory is because they actually have split workstreams to get Nougat ready in time to release for all devices alongside Mercury, hence slipping the security updates and fixes. And possibly explains why the Beta program units are getting it late, as no one is around to do releases. Even John isn't very active in the forums lately, so maybe their hands are really tied.
