I just migrated all my BBOS10 users from BES10 to BES12, it worked flawlessly.

Then I tried to migrate my few Playbook from BES10
    - PB OS version (Work and Personal-Corporate)
but it doesn't work. ( device doesn't show up in BES12 Migration tool)

I tried a full activation in BES12 with "Set activation password"
then on playbook (new work account) I get (Unable to find connection information. Please use advanced setup.)

I try this with my server name: bcp://CA.bbsecure.com:443/S*******

then I get (Unable to contact server, please check connectivity or server address.)
I activated many IOS devices, so there is no connectivity issues.

I have plenty Gold and Silver licences available.

Is Playbook work account compatible with BES12?

I'm afraid the answer is no.

Comparing BES12 with previous EMM solutions from BlackBerry
    EMM solution
    Supported device types
    •BlackBerry 10
    •BlackBerry OS (version 5.0 to 7.1)
    •Windows Phone
You can manage the server, user accounts, and all device types with a single UI, the management console. The software architecture has been simplified for easier management, increased scalability, and additional multiplatform features.
For high availability, you can install additional active servers that share the management load automatically.BlackBerry

    Enterprise Service 10
    •BlackBerry 10
    •BlackBerry OS (version 5.0 to 7.1)
    •BlackBerry PlayBook
You can manage the server, devices, and user accounts with dedicated, advanced UIs for different device types. You can also use BlackBerry Management Studio as a single, unified UI for basic administration of all devices.
To manage BlackBerry OS (version 5.0 to 7.1) devices, you can install BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 on the same computer as BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP4 and use BlackBerry Management Studio for basic administration.
For high availability, you can install standby instances of the server.

As you can see BlackBerry PlayBook mentioned on the BES 10 documentation but not the BES 12 docs.

Sorry about that. It sucks as PlayBook appears no longer supported.

I have encountered a similar issue, as I am using BES10 cloud and cannot connect playbooks, even though I was told at seminar they were supported. As its a trial no support

Funny how BES12 supports legacy BBOS but not PlayBooks!

They really want PlayBook to go away and die don't they.

Further compounding the issue here is that there is no Blend for Playbook, and Bridge doesn't seem to support email functionality anymore either.

PlayBook has been long time discontinued and unsupported.

Of course BlackBerry is not implementing functionality for an unsupported platform. There is no business case for it and nobody to fix problems on the PlayBook If something is not working with BES12.
