I have been using a Bold 9900 for 2 years but got sick of the battery life (can barely last a day no matter what OS I tried), camera was crap on the 9900 anyway due to no auto focus and so is the case with the 9720

I got the 9720 mainly for the battery, but one more good thing I can tell you, the keyboard is much easier to type on compared to the 9900 due to the buttons being separated from each other so you never mis type a key EVER!

    For
$140 that I got it for, this is a steal for such a great phone with decent battery and a great keyboard

my phone came with OS 7.1.0.1046. It has Multi Cast built in

The camera is the same as the 9900, no auto focus so same crappy close up pics but average far away pics. Battery is decent, 2 days easily with heavy usage

I can't seem to find any OS download from any carrier though I am afraid if something happens to the phone I am unable to reload the OS

    browsing speed = same exactly

spinning clock, not while usage, just when installing stuff, basically, this phone is very practical and useable you wouldn't need anything else. great communication device and again...BEST keyboard i've used

better than thatQ10 and 9900 IMHO because the keys are separated so u never mis type a button

If you optimise it to best settings etc then the 9900 is much better than the 9720

Are battery pulls still necessary to install/uninstall apps?

    Thank you in advance.

Do you have any problem with the battery cover. Mine is a very loose fit and it irritates me a lot while using the phone.

I'm not sure if Canada ever got the 9720. It was more for emerging markets and places like Britain where it was popular.

Q10 and Canadian all the way! Q10SQN100-3/10.2.0.1791

OK I'll bite, how much does it cost you in Dubai? (or how much would it cost me, however you want to look at it ;-)
I think I can figure out mailing costs.

In Dubai it costs USD $217 with a 1 year warranty from the most reputable mobile phones retailer: AXIOM

PS: the unit would be "Made in Taiwan" although the Bolds they sell here are all "Made in Hungary 3"

    Thanks for that info BullGuard8!
That is the same I have just seen on ebay from the U$A and since it is closer
    (and mailing costs cheaper! :-)
I might go with one of the ebay sellers.

great man! just wanted to help!

good luck with it, I am not very pleased with the phone though it is very slow like when you scroll up / down in your whatsapp contacts it's not fluid motion, seems to go in slow motion due to the slow 800 MHz, CPU included in it, the battery and keyboard are the only reasons I am holding on to it so far

VERY, because the keys are separated not stuck to one another like the Bold, it's a dream to type on with 0 mistakes blind folded

no, no time for this, I have my MP3s when I need them but I've tested it and it works, you have to have the headphones connected to act as a radio though so I prefer TuneIn Radio FTW

Actually, you will get T-Mobile 3G in all areas where they did the 1900 MHz refarming.
