I had the chance to swap out my 9930 and turned it down. Battery issue is no issue. The 9720 has sweet buttons but the pure feeling, look and .. well I just love the 9930..

Well do you value more horsepower and a better overall user experience, or a better battery that can keep you going longer? The way I see it, if you have better battery life but tasks take longer to perform due to the lower CPU speed you kinda come out even.

I'd say the Bolds 9790 and 9900 are both better options than the 9720.

    hi
    im returning to BBos7 after having a Z10 and a Q10...
i had the 9900 and the only downside for me was the lack of autofocus and battery life...
now i can get the 9900 or the 9720 for the same price, but im not sure wich to buy...
is the battery life of the 9720 much better then the 9900?
having a worse processor i should give up from the 9720 , or the processor is more then enough??
can someone give me some advice?

    thanks

I've had the 9720 for a few months now, performance is a bit low becajse of the low ram but the main disadvantage is the keyboard, its not that horrible but the 9900's keyboard is way better.

oh one more thing, feels really cheap but you get what you paid for.
battey is amazing on 2g signal but it'll get you through 10 hours on 3G with moderate usage.

What did you end up doing, OP?
And I'm curious as to what kind of price difference you encountered at the time.

Hope you're enjoying whichever device you ended up getting.
