Wired Headset Difficulties
I have used a wired headset with my 8830 now for about a year (TheBoom.com v4 --its truly outstanding). After downloading the latest operating system, not only has the voice quality degraded, but the phone does not recognize the headset and I have to use the menu to "activate headset" AFTER the call is connected. Kinda defeats the purpose.
Verizon tech support has no answers. Anyone have any ideas. I have already replaced the headset on the off chance it had become defective. No improvement.
