    Does it make a big difference in what? Browsing speeds are a little better, however, if you're in a wifi area you can likely just log on with your computer and surf that way anyway.

    IMO, the only benefit to wifi is the UMA service offered on TMobile.

    I will second that about UMA. Wouldn't have bothered with WiFi on my phone without having UMA. Would have bought a Sprint with EV-DO.

    I agree. I bought the 8820 with AT&T the day of release so I can have Wi-Fi but I'm not that impressed. I still love my BB for many other reasons but I could have definately lived without Wi-Fi.

    Ditto... I don't bother with enabling wifi most of the time. But then again, the main purpose of wifi in the phone on t-mobile is for UMA.
