I have a question, is it possible to use Wi-Fi on my 8820 without using additional data services from AT&T?

Or may be I still didn't learn how to tune Wi-Fi on my blackberry.

I found out that if I wanted to use Wi-Fi I had to turn on the feature data usage on the network settings, otherwise it wouldn't work, but is it possible to use just the Wireless Network for the internet on my phone?

    thanks.

I also found that you needed that data stting turned on even using Wi-Fi only, but I never got charged for any data use. I used my 8820 with AT&T on Wi-Fi and no data plan without any issues. There is an excellent sticky in the Wi-Fi section on how to set up your BB for that.
