Im a new user of an 8830. Are all ringtones so quiet or is it just the ones i have stored on my phone? Confused.

Nope its an issue with the 8830 WE. Only thing you can do it set your profiles to Loud, and try to track down some louder MP3s to set as your alert tones.

check out the classic ringtone sticky. I use it. Don't like the sound of it, but it's plenty loud enough!

Works like a charm. Only Caveat is that you have to redo it every time you restart your phone...small price to pay though!

Ringtones is somewhat of a problem to blackberrys in general, but i make my ringtones from phonezoo.com , but when I upgraded my os to 4.5.0.77 it got louder, but it's still not a complete update so there's some bugs here and there.
