I'm not familiar with the app you're requesting, but Google Maps has a locator function called Latitude. You can download Google maps over the air to your 8830 at Google Mobile. You don't specify your carrier, but if it is Verizon, you won't be able to use the GPS in your 8830 with anything other that BBMaps, VZNavigator, Bing, and Verizon's social networking app. You may be able to use Verizon's chaperone locator service, but it is not free.
