Yeah ....i have had that before....i know someone who bought one of the 1st Sony Ericsson P990i and it was from Swtizerland...had the same problem...but i think if you change the config to UK you can still use the keypad as normal...but dont quote me...

You surely can set the keyboard to north americe standard but the letter worte on the pad will stay the same but I don't thing they'll release it like that in NA

Good catch on the WiFi too, but there is supposed to be a WiFi version of the 8800 getting released. Last I heard it was the 8820.

Rumor has it T-Mobile should be releasing it in April... but that is only a rumor.

...it would have myFaves on it too! I just called T-Mobile, and they have no details at present. But, did say they get to hear about it, two weeks before release...

Nav - Do you reckon they really only hear about it 2 weeks prior to arrival? Or is that just shop talk. On O2 and Carphonewarehouse they publish dates (months) and have alot of info ahead of time...Its meant to attract the customers....

If it werent for dedicated websites, i wouldnt have a hope in hell of finding out answers...especially as the Service Providers still have no clue here.....
