    So I've continuall searched this, found similar issues but nothing to fix the issue.

    I have my 8830WE through verizon with BIS and since day 1 had 2 email accounts setup. I recently decided to delete one of the accounts, no problem.

    One day on my phone I was in email setup and saw my remaining acct said invalid or something and there was a "validate now" link. I clicked it (on my phone), typed my email password, and suddenly all my emails were deleted and I began receiving all of them as new emails. 177 to be exact. Weird but whatever I had all my emails and everything was still fine, or so I thought.

    From that point on I began receiving duplicate emails... I receive the one email in my "email-only" folder on my blackberry, which of course also shows up in the "all messages" folder, as it should. But in the all messages folder there are 2 of the same emails. One that says received using: "my email address" and the other says "unknown". I've read and tried resending service books and everything from my vzw blackberry acct through my computer, but nothing seems to fix it.

    Also, another weird thing is now I periodically keep receiving emails in my all messages folder from the email address that I had thought I deleted! In the to: box it says my old email and received using: "unknown"..

    Even on my vzw bis acct online that old email acct does not show up so I have no clue how I am still receiving some of those emails..

    Two weird problems and if anyone has any advice or solutions please let me know! Thanks!

    Some time ago, I had problems with having very old messages resent to my BB. The solution was setting things up so that when I deleted them, I deleted them from the handheld.

    As for your more urgent situation, it sounds like you may have to delete all email accounts, and start from scratch. I realize that is pretty drastic, but that is all I can think of to get this annoying situation cleared. I hope for your sake that someone out there has a better/less invasive solution.

    Go to "email settings", delete both accounts and re-set up. Exactly.

    alright I was hoping it wouldn't come to that but oh well! Now should I do this from my phone or from the online BIS site?

    I still don't get how I am receiving emails from an account that is no longer even connected with my bis!

    Since it sounds like you "deleted" the account through the phone, and it wasn't complete, I recommend you do this through the online BIS site.

    That is what I thought, but on my BIS site that old account doesn't even show up yet I still receive periodic emails. That's why its so weird haha!
