Hey I got an 8830 a couple weeks ago and I try to download a video of CNN.COM but it says it is an invalid file format. Just wondering why this is and if I can do anything to get this to work? Thanks

There are so many different video formats, that the bb8830 only processes certain ones, i.e. if you go to NYtimes.com, you can download videos that play, but not the full screen?!

Those types of videos have to be streamed rather than saved then opened. Kinda like you tube vids...

could you be more specific, please?
By streamed, do you mean to simply "open" the link rather than "save" it? I've tried both and can't get any CNN videos (any my NY Times videos are 1/2 the size of the screen. Thanks.

You hit the nail on the head. Open is blackberry's way of streaming. What OS do you have on the phone? 4.5 is required for streaming most vids...
