I have ATT. onmy older phones I could dial *646# and would get a message telling me the account status. on BB, when I am in pone mode, it does not even let me dial * or #..so how do I check? confused:confused:

I don't know to be honest but you haven't had a reply and it's been here a while so...
Call your carrier; with T-Mo UK for example you can SMS 'al' to 150 or call 150 and have your balance SMSed / read back.
Call 'em and ask if they have anything like that.
You should be able to dial a star. on my 8100 I hit ALT then the * or # keys.
might be different on the other models.
I have a 8820 with AT&T and I just hit *646# from the home screen and hit send and it sends a sms right back to me with usage. If it isn't working dial 611 and ask customer service what's going on with it and they should be able to figure something out.

I was using the alt key for the * .... when in phone mode, press the */A key and it would take * automatically. no need to use the alt key.
