    Since I got my Storm a friend wants my 8830. He put his sim card in it and it comes up with a invalid sim card error.Is this phone compatible with with Cingular? Thanks for your help. Oh I have Verizon and he has Cingular.

    Unlike the storm and tour, the world edition can not be unlocked to be used on Cingular i believe.

    Corrent- 8830 GSM=European GSM only
