    I have a 8830 that was locked by an ex-emplyee with a password. How would you unlock this or do I need to contact the provider??

    You pretty much need to contact the previous employee. I have one of these sitting around as well, heh. I'm not sure if you can jl_cmder it or not.

    I think if you enter the password incorrectly 10 times the device will wipe itself. Don't know if you need data on it.

    With JLcommander you still need to enter a passcode

    Yeah, if you enter the password incorrectly 10 times, it will wipe the phone and unlock it.
