is there a way to set your greeting so that it goes straight to the tone after YOUR greeting instead of the female voice coming on and saying "at the tone, please record your message..."...so it sounds like a landline voice mail?
i know you can do it with sprint phones...but i can't find any threads on how to do it with a bb.
Dial your number and you can follow the promps - it should work.

i don't think you understood my question...or maybe its a hidden prompt. i am trying to get rid of the female voice that comes on AFTER your voice on the greeting. sprint has a code you can enter to remove it.
so when it is removed, it sounds like you are calling a landline/business.
