try putting a check in the mobile networks box, or turning all connections on

I have tried that a couple times...it still will not allow me to make calls & when I attempt access email or internet it tells me to turn my radio on or the battery may be to low for radio use. The battery is currently at 93%

When you check the Mobile Networks box, does it turn green?

I don't have an 8830 in front of me, but that does not sound like the ON indication. You should see your carrier's name and a green checkmark instead of a yellow dash. Try checking it again.

I turned off the connections and mobile network say the same thing blue 'on' with yellow circle with a dash through it. The bluetooth say nothing and has read circle with an 'x'. I hit restore connections and both connections have the blue 'on' with the yellow circle/dash combination.
