Has any seen this before... sometimes when I press the trackball in on my ATT 8820, the screen distorts, or other times it "rainbows slightly". Its just as if you pressed too hard on an LCD monitor screen.

I really dont think I am pressing to hard on the trackball or even pressing it angled. But nevertheless this is my first redesigned blackberry I have used. I just am wondering if anyone else has heard or experienced this.

My 8830 does the same thing??? It seems like the screen should be separate from the controls though doesn't it!

redesigned = trackball vs. scroll wheel.

Something tells me it's your hardware.
