    Hi, I unlocked an AT&T blackberry 8820, but won't recognize T-mobile SIM.

    any help?

    1 - Using the menu go to Options -> Advance options -> Sim card
    2 - While holding the SHIFT key, type MEPD or (MEPPD for Vodafone Handsets)
    3 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.

    Does the 'Network' category say 'Disabled'?

    it says disabled...It also said something after I put in the unlock code...like unlock verified?

    It should've said code accepted. It should work then. I'm not aware of any other step.

    Try going into your 'Mobile Network Options' and see if you can do anything there.

    It said code accepted. when you put in the SIM card it won't recognize it.

    Is there a way to ping the SIM card?

    Sorry everyone. I did unlock it successfully, but one key thing

    PUT THE SIM CARD IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!
