I have a problem with an old 8820 , i want to plug in some headphones and listen to music thats in themedia player.
problem is whenever i plugg the headphones in it comes up with the voice dialing prompt. after i exit that when i play media it still comes out the phone even if the headphones are plugged in. ive even tried selecting the activate headphones in the media menu and it still just plays out of the phone.
If you are plugging a standard set of stereo headphones this might happen. If you are using an adapter from Radio Shack this might happen. Get a headphone adapter made specifically for the BB from here or another source. Should solve your problem or use headphones made for the BB. Adaprer works best.
