Quick Question,

Sprint is shipping their own SIM cards to every 8830 that they sell. Would it possible to use that SIM and place it into an unlocked 8300 and use Sprint's GSM SIM on the Curve..?

Good question... but I bet they thought about that, and have no roaming agreements in the US. Therefore, it might work, but you'd be paying roaming fees.

Anyone know whether the GPS be disabled on the Sprint versions of the 8830 too? I.e., will there be a monthly fee in order to access the GPS?

i think sprint has their own gps with a monthly fee
