i am just curious if there are any software updates or general updates that occur for the blackberry 8830 we? or does it need to be upgraded in any way?
Options/About will tell you your version number. Then you can go to your carrier's site to see if it's the latest. You can also follow this procedure, developed by Stoner, to both update your OS if necessary and manage your memory: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...-memory-34633/
However, I recommend you use your 8830 for a few days and get used to it before attempting any updates. Watch the forums for a while and it will be much easier to understand and do.
