Which do you guys prefer?

I just had a silver one, but was able to get it replaced through Verizon for the red one. I know the only difference is the color and the backlight on the keyboard, but which do you guys prefer for this?

I almost went with the red, just because I do those kinds of things, red amplifiers, green sneakers, etc.......but in silver, it looks like a jewel. The red is cool, tho!

Overall, I prefer my silver 8830. But, I would make the switch to the red in a minute because the keyboard seems so much easier to read in both light and dark conditions (with the white backlight instead of the unreadable blue). Unfortunately, I've had my 8830 too long to make the change (well past the 30-day allowed switch/return), but no where long enough to get a new phone on the 2-year update thing.

I guess I'll be squinting at my keyboard for quite awhile longer!

do it!!!! even if you arent a fan of the red, that can always be changed, but the white backlight is amazing!
