I have a verizon blackberry 8830 and the red hang up button is broken. Therefore, I'm planning on swapping it out in the next day or two.

I am a enterprise user so I don't care about backing up calendar / tasks / contacts / email as it is all stored on my computer. However, I have downloaded numerous apps on the berry and also made settings changes that I would prefer to not have to do again.

What is the proper way to do a complete backup so that I can duplicate my blackberry with a replaced one?

    Yes, you can.

Remember, some commercial third party applications are licensed through the PIN of the BB. You may need to transfer or repurchase.

    Good luck.
