    I have acquired, quite legally, an 8820 that was used by a company that has gone into liquidation and want to use it for my own use. What do I need to do to clear? the memory? configuaration?, and start afresh?

    Reinstall the latest OS (instructions in tg sticky post) and do not backup / restore any data.
