    just bought a 8830 and have no idea what to do. How do i recieve pictures that someone sends me. i'm sure i will have questions every day for awhile so any kind of help would be very nice.

    Receiving pictures on an 8830 must be done as an attachment to an email. The 8830 does not support Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). Verizon's reasoning is that the 8830 does not have a camera...So I guess since we can�t take photos with our phone we don't like to receive them either. Anyhow, if someone does send you an MMS and you're carrier is Verizon you can still view the photo(s) by logging into Verizon's Pix Place. Either at a PC or through your bberry browser. Hope this helps.

    ^^^ Correction... slight one anyway. The 8830 most certainly supports MMS, the carriers just don't enable it on phones without cameras. I guess whoever works on their tech teams must be to stupid to realize this. A simple look into the OS of the phone will dig up an MMS cod file.
