Neither sending as an MMS nor saving to the 8830 worked. Sending via MMS is not even an option on her Pearl, is that because she is still running OS v 4.3?
Yes you need to be running 4.5 to send MMS. I think there is an upgrade for the pearl. Not sure why the vids not playning. Can you view youtube from your phone??

Thanks, I'll update the Pearl to OS 4.5 which is available on Sprint's download sight.
I can view youtube on my 8830 no problem, but when I attempt to save the .3gp files I receive, I get a message that says "Marking item as saved" but I don't know what that means or if the file is actually stored anywhere.
I tested reciving a video via MMS from my wife's instinct today. Unfortunately it did not work. I got sent to spring picture mail which then told me the file was too large to view. I'm not sure if there is a work around for this.

No work around for the picmail.....if you use a smaller file size then you can view it.

Updated the Pearl OS, and can send video files as an MMS file to my 8830, but cannot view on or save to my 8830. VERY FRUSTRATING. It's time for Sprint to get some newer bb models. Anyone know when the Curve 8330 was introduced?
