Is it possible to password protect, or hide, my memos?
I used to be able to hide things on my palm and am looking for some sort of similar functionality.
Thanks,
Sara

Well you can't password protect any 1 thing on a BB just the whole device. You could however hide your memo icon.
Yes, you can not password protect notes on your BB.
After much searching on the web, I found this simple password protected memo app called "Safe". It works decently on my BB 8310.

If you don't want to change to a new application for memos, this one seems to integrate a password feature right into the standard Memopad app menu.
61moons.com/memolock.php
trying the 61moons.com app right now, looks like it's exactly what i'm looking for and its works great so far.
I would be very interested in follow up - are you still using the Memolock program - still working - and are you using the Weblock associated function/program?
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
I have been using memolock from 61moons.com for over 1.5 years now - first on 8330 and now on 9650 on OS 6 since last 6 months.
Great app with a great developer - responded very quickly to help me install on OS 6 when i had problems. That alone made me buy the app, even though the trial was still working after few months !
I keep a lot of password etc in my memos and i usually use the 'hide memos' option.
Using the encrypt memos option may be safer but in case you edit something in the encrypted memo then it will not decrypt.
Besides, as per my research & attempts, hide memos seems safe enough for general use (ie if phone gets lost i don't have to change my 120 passwords like i had to last time)
Doesn't take any memory or use up battery etc.
And i have no link with the developer. At all. Just a grateful user, since there's no other similar app.
Tried some apps from app world which encrypt a lot of things on BB and all of them are memory/cpu/battery hogs as they keep running all the time and make things quite slow. MemoLock only appears in when you run Memo.
