Can I upgrade OTA to the new OS that tmobile supports on the 8820?? On the 8900 there's a "wireless upgrade" option when u go to options/advanced options.(Too bad tmo doesn't support one yet for 8900) But when I do that on the 8820 there's no "wirelss upgrade" option

I'm afraid if there's no Wireless Upgrade on the option on the device, you might not be able to upgrade with that method. Sorry.

My 8820 has Wireless Upgrade under Advanced Options. I tried it and there was nothing to upgrade although I'm running 4.5.0.124 (not 139). FWIW

As FTF mentioned, there is a wireless upgrade option on my 8820 as well. You could try the upgrade as long as you are on T-Mo's service. If you are with another carrier, I would stick to doing the upgrade through Desktop Manager

Wow! I didn't even know their was that feature. I did it through dm and had no problems. I wonder which way is easier or better?
