I tried upgrading the OS of my unlocked Alltel BB 8830 to

8830CDMA_Public_4[1].5.0_rel48_4.5.0.33

I'm in India using Airtel GSM sim card.Blackberry service was working fine before the OS upgrade.After the upgrade I got en email from Alltel, "Welcome to Blackberry Service, powered by Alltel " and the BB service has stopped working ever since. Is the OS mentioned above the correct upgrade or i flashed the phone with a wrong one..Can i downgrade to 4.2 ? Any help will be much appreciated...

I do see the service books, but the host routing table is completely wiped out............

Sorry and to add it says "Activation Required" where the ealier service provider logo "Airtel" iused to show...
