Ok guys so im an ex HTC user and im used to reflashing and cooking roms and all that good stuff. So i have a tmobile 8820 and it has 4.2 i want to load the new 4.2 or even 4.5. Now i installed DM and it syncs all my stuff great and works fine. then i install the OS loader and it says if i want to launch DM after install so i do . It check for updates and nothing happens. Also i delete vendor.xml and it still never recognizes the updated OS. im not sure what im missing. when i click application loader it only finds the current install programs and never sees an OS. also i reinstalled DM and the OS multiple times ....any ideas of whats going on

Did you install the OS file onto your PC??

do u have to wipe all oses from it first or can u update with an exhisting OS
this one says to clear all OSes

^^ That would be the guide I wrote... if you read it, you see you do not have to do it that way, and I provide the alternative method (linked).

But I recommend and always do that way!

i followed both methods..im not one of these morons who just ask w/o reading im a computer tech with much exp im just curious if u guys have any ideas of whats wrong
